Causal network graphs can be applied to visualise causal relationships. They can be useful for representing hypothesised mechanisms ([https://doi.org/10.1007/s10539-022-09838-1 Heger 2022]). The networks shown here are work in progress. They represent our current suggestions for combining invasion hypotheses in larger causal network graphs. The first causal network graph integrates hypotheses on invasiveness, the second one on invasibility.

Causal network graphs are visual representations of hypothesised or observed causal relationships. They can be useful for representing hypothesised mechanisms (Heger 2022). The networks shown here are work in progress. They represent our current suggestions for combining invasion hypotheses in larger causal network graphs. The first causal network graph integrates hypotheses on invasiveness, the second one on invasibility.
